Edgar Jose Canseco, a 19-year-old, was booked into San Joaquin County Jail at 4:41 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, on suspicion of homicide. He is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, in Manteca, though the location, time and date could be changed.
Canseco was arrested following a "high-risk" stop of a blue Honda Accord at 10:02 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, according to Tracy police records. Two other people were in the car with Canseco, but the daily police log shows they were not arrested.
It was not clear if Canseco is a suspect in the Wednesday, Sept. 15, shooting and car crash that police have ruled a homicide, or a suspect in one of the city’s other recent unresolved homicide cases.
Including this week’s incident, suspects are still being sought in at least two cases from the past 20 months — the late 2009 killing of Clayton “Cotton” Riggins, and the August 2010 slaying of Lou David Lynch.
Tracy police were not immediately available for comment.

Mayor Ives and the rest of the crooks on our city council sold this town out to developers who slapped up a bunch of houses that people could not afford, now real estate values are back to 1993 levels.
More than half this town is under water on home values, the thugletts from the bay area roam the streets at night while their drunk and high parents are passed out.
And yet the ding dongs in this town cant help but vote for the same people who trashed the damn place.
I'm planning to make my escape from this hell hole with in the next few years... Wish I had done that back in 2005 when my friends warned me this town was lost..

And for the record this guy is Portuguese, "REMEMBER" just because it has a "LATINO" name doesn't always means their Latino or sometimes for that manner "Filipino". I due understand where your coming from but you have to look in the Grey area as well not just black or white...What has happened to this town we call TRACY?
Yes as a person of color (thats right folks I am not white) I would be surprised. Because people from Sweden and Germany don't come to Tracy and commit crime.
Now I am not saying Germans are nice folks, both my grandparents who killed Nazi's for a living in world war two can attest to them being some mean SOB's.
But the reality of this situation is these animals from Hayward or Oakland or Stockton come into our town and terrorize us, and they give all of us hard working folks of color a damn bad name.

I don't recall anyone making a issue or any mention of Michael Schumacher or Melissa Huckaby's race, nor should it since evil as well as good comes from all races. It's not the race, but the individual who commits the crime who is fully responsible.
