The city of Tracy will present the first in a series of free movies shown outside City Hall on June 25.

This is the third summer the city will be offering a series of free movies, and residents are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to continue the summertime tradition.

In the past, there has been entertainment for kids and prize giveaways, but because of budget cuts, the free event has been scaled back.

The first movie will be “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,” which will begin at 6:30 p.m. June 25.

“Charlotte’s Web” will be shown July 9 and “Kung Fu Panda” on Aug. 6.
