Tuffy is one of 10 puppies that will be available for adoption from the Animal Rescue of Tracy for the first time from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the West Valley Mall. The puppies were born June 1. They are Australian cattledog-shepherd mixes. There are five girls and five boys. They are a herding breed and have lots of love and playfulness. They are also very sweet and have great temperaments. They have had their first vaccine and deworming, and are microchipped. Animal Rescue of Tracy will have at least 40 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens at the mall. The pets will be located in the Center Court near the Navy recruitment office.
• Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that holds pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the last two Sundays of each month at PetSmart, 2477 N.
