The Amazon.com Inc. Fulfillment Center in Tracy is hiring at least 200 full-time employees, according to a news release Tuesday.

Amazon is currently expanding the center, which opened Oct. 2 at 1555 N. Chrisman Road, from 1 million square feet to an estimated 1.2 million square feet. The release said the Seattle-based company was hiring and expanding the Tracy warehouse to meet increasing demand.

The online retailer employs a mix of full-time and seasonal workers at the fulfillment center and is taking applications at www.workatamazonfulfillment.com. Amazon did not provide a phone number for people to call.
