Wallace ‘Buck’ Messenger

Wallace Messenger, of Tracy, known as “Buck,” died Aug. 7 at age 66.

Mr. Messenger was born Aug. 16, 1947, in Erie, Penn., and served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He later worked in information technology.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Messenger; son, Kevin Messenger, and his wife, Jennifer; four daughters, Chrystel Kordes, Carolyn Gregorio, and her husband, Vince, Jennifer de’Boer, and her husband, Wesley, and Georgia Monigan; seven grandsons; and a granddaughter.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Margaret and Wallace Messenger; three sisters; and two brothers.

Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements.
