Keegan Jacob Rivera, a member of Tracy Boy Scout Troop 537, has been recognized at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for achieving the highest rank in Scouting.

Rivera’s Eagle project was re-landscaping and improving the entrance to Ripon Christian High School, where he earned his diploma in May. He has also participated in Scouting for Food, helped with several fellow Eagle Scouts’ projects and worked at his troop’s annual Christmas tree lot.

In addition to Boy Scouts, Rivera participated in Tracy Youth Soccer League and has played guitar at Southwinds Church of four years. He attended Freiler School through eighth grade.

Rivera will study engineering at California Baptist University beginning this fall.
