Violet Mae Blythe, 82, a former Tracy resident, died Sunday in Ripon.

Born July 5, 1931, in North Carolina, she was a resident of Tracy from 1962 to 1993. She and her husband had lived in Ripon the past eight years

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Bill Blythe of Ripon; a daughter, Linda Ringot of Stockton; a brother, Robert Britt of King George, Va.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were a son, David Blythe; and her parents, Helen and Kinchen Britt.

No services are planned. Arrangements are being handled by Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel (www.deeganfuneralchapels.com).
