Services have been conducted for Cyril Spencer Lamb, 81, a former Tracy resident, who died Monday in Hughson.

Mr. Lamb, a U.S. Army veteran, was born July 23, 1932, in Stockton. He lived in Tracy before moving to Sonora 12 years ago. In Tracy, he was active with the local police department and American Legion post.

Survivors include three children, Terry Lamb, and his wife, Tammy, of Cedaredge, Colo., and Elizabeth Ann Gomes and Sherry Johnson, both of Stockton; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife of 59 years, Ann E. Lamb; and his parents, Margaret and Cyril Lamb.

A celebration of Mr. Lamb’s life took place Thursday at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by burial with military honors in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. An online guest book can be viewed at www.frymemorialchapel.com.
