Mountain House residents took a stand against cancer during the Relay For Life on Saturday at Wicklund School.

The Relay For Life website reports that 15 teams with 125 participants gathered at the school for the 24-hour walkathon, which benefits the American Cancer Society. The Mountain House relay had raised $31,677 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The top participants were David Pombo, raising $2,659; Reegan Snyder, raising $1,892; and Andres De La Cruz, raising $1,435.

Top fundraising teams at the relay were Team Reegan, $7,687; Pombo Family and Friends, $3,762; and WSF and Friends, $1,435.
