Last week’s Remember When mystery photo, at right, was no mystery to many Tracyites. The photo showed Tracy native Rita Ng wearing her crown as Miss California in 2000. She was later second runner-up in the Miss America Pageant.

Ng is a 1996 graduate of Tracy High who earned a bachelor’s degree with honors at Stanford University in 2000. She received her M.D. from University of California, San Francisco, and held a cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. In 2011, she became a cardiologist with Kaiser Permanente in Oakland. Last July, she married Navy Lt. Cmdr. Carson Taylor Lawall, a Navy neurologist and fellow graduate of UCSF School of Medicine.

Today’s mystery photo, at left, shows two Tracy High students performing in a comedy in 1950. Who is in the photo and what was the name of the play?
