A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday for Lucilia B. Avila, 87, a 16-year Tracy resident, who died Monday at her home with her family around her.

Born in Fayal, in the Azores, on Oct. 22, 1926, she lived in the Bay Area for 32 years before moving to Tracy.

Survivors include four children, Carlos Avalon, George Michael Avila, Louis A. Avila and Connie Marie Topulos; and one grandson.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 51 years, Eduino B. Avila.

Monday’s Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. at at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, including recitation of a rosary at 5 p.m., at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S.
