A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday for Yvette M. Duran, 43, a former Tracy resident, who died June 6 at her home in Stockton with her family around her.

Born in French Camp on Feb. 3, 1971, she lived in Tracy 20 years before moving to Stockton in 1994. She worked 20 years in a clerical role for the State Compensation Insurance Fund, and she was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s and St. Luke’s Catholic churches in Tracy and Stockton.

Survivors include three children, Robert Matta, Erika Duran and Nicholas Espinoza, all of Stockton; and three siblings, Michael Duran of Tracy, Stephen Ruiz of Lathrop and Alicia Gardner, and her husband, Scott, of Lodi.

Her parents, Lucy Villalovoz and Jesse Duran, preceded her in death.

After Thursday’s Mass, burial was in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., handled arrangements.
