A celebration of life will be June 7 for Wesley E. Sutton, 84, of Tracy, who died May 22 after a long illness.

Mr. Sutton, born Feb. 15, 1930, in Jefferson City, Mo., was the first child of eight born to Sylvia and Howard Sutton. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a license examiner at Sharpe Army Depot. He lived in Tracy 63 years.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Betty Sutton of Tracy; four children; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The celebration of Mr. Sutton’s life will begin at 5:30 p.m. June 7 at New Heart Church, 1647 Bessie Ave. Burial will be private in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements, and a guest book can be signed at www.frymemorialchapel.com.
