A celebration of life is planned at a later date for Ellamay Dasse, 95, a resident of Tracy for three years, who died May 19.

A native of Detroit, Mrs. Dasse was born Sept. 11, 1918. She spent her childhood in the area of Atlantic City, N.J., and married in 1937. She worked 25 years as a telephone operator in New Jersey and Florida, retiring in June 1976.

Survivors include a son, Henry “Hank” Dasse Jr., and his wife, Linda, of Tracy; a daughter-in-law, Judy Dasse of Costa Mesa; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Henry “Harry” Dasse Sr.; a son, William Dasse; her parents, Sarah and William Geller; and a sister, Sally.

Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., handled arrangements. The family has planned a celebration of her life at a later date.
