A celebration of life will be Friday for Vicky Futrell, a resident of Tracy for 19 years, who died April 29 at age 55.

Mrs. Futrell was born Jan. 4, 1959, in Chattanooga, Tenn., and moved to Alameda with her family in 1971, graduating from Encinal High School in 1977. She later earned a cosmetology degree from Alameda Beauty College and worked 20 years for the phone company before retiring.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Rodrick Futrell of Tracy; a daughter, Prinsess Futrell of Tracy; a son, Nate Futrell; a stepson, Rodrick Futrell; six grandchildren; and many other relatives.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Mary and Robert Queenan; and a brother, Kerry Moss.

The celebration of Mrs. Futrell’s life will begin at noon Friday at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
