Mrs. Truszkowski was born Sept. 29, 1918, to Polish immigrants in Lynn, Mass., where she graduated from high school and lived most of her life. She worked as a secretary for General Electric Co. and later as a part-time sales clerk for a department store in Lynn.
In 2004, she moved from Massachusetts to her daughter’s home in Tracy, where she attended St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. Four years later, she moved to Brentwood to be near another daughter.
Survivors include two daughters, Eileen Wigton of Brentwood and Linda Lucchetti, and her husband, Randy, of Lincoln; a grandson; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Stanley J. Truszkowski, who died in 1985; her parents, Anna (Kopcenska) and Walenty Zalenski; and a brother, Edwin S. Zalenski.
A Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Brentwood. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lynn.
