Tailspin is a 1-year-old silver tabby who likes to play in the water. When he decides it’s time for petting, he reaches out to tap the nearest person. Tailspin and his brother, Sputnik, get along with everyone, including dogs and other cats. They are playful and curious and like to hang around with the family. They do not have to be adopted together, but they do get along well and keep each other entertained. Animal Rescue of Tracy, a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group, will have pet adoption fairs Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at Petsmart, 2477 Naglee Road, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Macy’s wing of the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road. No adoption fairs are planned this Sunday, because of the Easter holiday. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.

Bob, 1, a pit bull terrier-boxer mix, is quiet, affectionate and well mannered and likes to be near people. He is house trained and crate trained and is learning to walk nicely with a head harness. Bob would do best as the only dog in the household. Rescued about five months ago, he is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed. Bob can be seen during East of Eden adoption fairs from noon to 3 p.m. Saturdays at Petco, 2888 Grant Line Road. A video can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=QENEc1lat5A.
