Republican women offer scholarship

Female high school seniors and college students can apply for a $1,000 scholarship from Tracy Republican Women Federated.

Applicants must live within Tracy Unified School District. The deadline to apply is April 13.

Legion auxiliary to meet

Members of the James McDermott Unit 172, American Legion Auxiliary, will gather at noon Tuesday at Perko’s Café, 1321 W. 11th St.

Scholarship winners, wildlife at Tracy Woman’s Club

Tracy Woman’s Club will host winners of past and present leadership scholarships during its April 4 meeting.

The program for the meeting, which begins at 11 a.m. at Tracy Elks Lodge, will feature care of wildlife. Marty Buxton of Walnut Creek Lindsay Wildlife Museum will display several specimens.

Newcomers are welcome. Lunch reservations, $15, are required.
