Mr. Rossi was born May 13, 1944, in Oakland and worked as an accountant. He held the position of controller for 40 years and was an enrolled agent for H&R Block. He was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and a longtime member of the Colombo Club in Oakland.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Edna Rossi of Tracy; eight children, Andrew Rossi of Tracy, Nick Rossi of Salida, Cara Rossi of Oceano, Katie Tenenbaum, and her husband, Joe, of San Francisco, Jenifer Potkinjak, and her husband, Aaron, of Tracy, Joe Enos of Tracy, Anthony Enos, and his wife, Heather, of Manteca and Christina Royster of Alameda; and six grandchildren.
Also surviving are four siblings, Christine Hofstede, and her husband, Gary, of Livermore, Lynn Glenn, and her husband, Curt, of Danville, Nan Palia, and her husband, Les, of Danville and Robert Rossi, and his wife, Denise, of Vacaville; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation was observed Monday at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave.
