Beverly Rose, 88, a former longtime Tracy resident, died Monday, March 10, at Compassion Senior Care in Roseville. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed before the service from 9 to 11:15 a.m. Contributions in Mrs. Rose’s name may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.

Josephine M. Correia, 89, of Tracy, died Friday, March 7, at New Hope Post Acute Care. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. March 28 at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Burial will be in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road.

Jean C. Kraft, 71, a Tracy resident since 2003, died Thursday, March 6, at her home after battling cancer. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., and graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in Skylawn Memorial Park, Highway 92 at Skyline Boulevard, in San Mateo. A celebration of life will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Southwinds Church, 13400 Middle Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Kraft’s name may be sent to the church, 13400 Middle Road, Tracy, CA 95304; or to Tracy Interfaith Ministries, 311 W. Grant Line Road, Tracy, CA 95376.

Josephine Marlene Foley, 88, a lifelong Banta resident, died Thursday, March 6. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., and a rosary and vigil will begin at 7 that evening. Contributions in Mrs. Foley’s name may be sent to Tracy Interfaith Ministries, 311 W. Grant Line Road, Tracy, CA 95376; to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204; or to a local charity of the donor’s choice.

Caroline Josephine “Carrie” Gonzalez, 76, a lifelong Tracy resident, died March 5. A closed-casket visitation will be observed from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., with a rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 13, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, and burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Anthony Edward Rossi, 69, died March 5 in Tracy from complications of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation was observed Monday, March 10, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. Contributions in Mr. Rossi’s name may be sent to The ALS Association Development Department, 1275 K St., Ste. 250, Washington, DC 20005; or to St. Bernard’s Building Fund, 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy, CA 95376.

Dean Orville Bates, 90, of Stockton, a former Tracy resident, died March 4 in Stockton from complications resulting from a fall. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1981 Chester Drive. Burial will be private.

Wendy M. Froiland, 47, a 33-year Tracy resident, died unexpectedly March 3 in Tracy. Services will begin at 11 a.m. March 22 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1635 Chester Drive. Burial will be private in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road.

Nancy McKinney-Cloonan-Reinhart, 55, a Tracy resident for 40 years, died of heart failure Feb. 25 at her home. A celebration of her life will begin at 11 a.m. March 22 at the San Joaquin River Club, 30000 Kasson Road.

Lon Rountree, 77, a resident of the New Jerusalem area since 1989, died Feb. 21 in a car crash. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. March 29 at the Moose Lodge, 35 E. Sixth St.

Ina Silveira, 84, a former Banta and Tracy resident who moved two years ago to Nashville, Tenn., died in February at her home. She had worked at the local H.J. Heinz Co. and Laura Scudders factories.
