Graveside services will be Tuesday, Jan. 28, for John “Bob” McLeod, 92, a graduate of local schools and 55-year Tracy resident, who died Monday, Jan. 20, at Astoria Gardens in Tracy.

Mr. McLeod, a native of San Francisco, was born Oct. 25, 1921. He attended New Jerusalem Elementary School and graduated from Tracy Union High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He worked 35 years as a machinist for Pan American Airways, during which time he lived in South San Francisco.

Survivors include a brother, Gerald McLeod of Tracy; two sisters, Marion McLeod of Tracy and Grace Gartman, and her husband, John, of Clovis; and a niece.

Tuesday’s graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. that same day at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave.
