Almer Gomes, 91, a lifelong Tracy resident and longtime dairyman, died Sunday, Jan. 5, at Astoria Gardens. Visitation will be observed starting at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., with a rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Graveside services will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Dustin Mark Asbra, 42, of Tracy, died Saturday, Jan. 4, at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. A celebration of his life will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at St. Michael Church, 458 Maple St., in Livermore, followed by burial in St. Michael Cemetery, 3885 East Ave., also in Livermore. Frederick Willis Cook Jr., a World War II veteran and Tracy High School graduate, died Dec. 31 at Tracy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a short illness. He was 85. Barbara Jean Yocum, 83, an 18-year Tracy resident and member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, died Dec. 30 in Tracy. Arrangements will be handled by Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave.,

Gary Michael Estrada, 62, of Sacramento, a member of the Tracy High School Class of 1969, died Dec. 29 in Sacramento. At his request, no services are planned. Lombard and Co. of Sacramento ( handled cremation, and the family will scatter his ashes at a later date in a favorite vacation place.

Jeannette Arlene Harrington, 75, of Tracy, died Dec. 17 at Doctors Hospital of Manteca. A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Chapel of the Light, 1620 W. Belmont Ave., in Fresno.

Geneva F. Kipp, 92, of Pioneer, a Tracy High School alumna, died Dec. 14 at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson. Family services are pending. Burial will be in the family plot in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road.
