Tracy celebrated the Downtwon Holiday Light Parade Saturday, Dec. 7. Children rode along Central Avenue on the Jefferson 4-H sleigh and the Tracy High School marching band marched to the beat as hundreds of families braved chilly temperatures to watch as lighted floats and walking entries traveled along 10th Street and Central Avenue to the Downtown Plaza for the lighting of the city tree. Holiday events continue with workshops and open houses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14; a chance to visit Santa Claus at the Santa Hut at the Downtown Plaza from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Dec. 21; and holiday caroling and carriage rides from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 21.
