Blair Hurlock of Tracy, a senior at De La Salle High in Concord, placed fourth overall in the Division I boys race at the California Interscholastic Federation cross-country meet Saturday, Nov. 30, at Woodward Park in Fresno.

Hurlock ran the 5K course in 15 minutes, 11 seconds and led his team to a seventh-place team finish at the state meet.

His finish qualifies Hurlock to compete at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championship West Regional meet at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut on Saturday, Dec. 7. There, he will have a chance to qualify for the FLCCC National Finals in San Diego on Dec. 14.

Races will be webcast live at www.footlockercc.com. The senior boys run at 8:55 a.m. Saturday.
