Cross-country: Falcon girls finish in back at state meet

The Millennium High varsity girls cross-country team finished in 22nd place out of 22 teams in the Division V competition at the California Interscholastic Federation state championship meet Saturday, Nov. 30, at Woodward Park in Fresno.

Lead runner for the Falcons was senior Anneliese Bradley, who ran the 5K course in 22 minutes, 38 seconds and finished in 135th place among 184 runners.

Millennium’s team also included freshman Valeria Diaz (23:44), junior Serena Cho (24:07), junior Estefania Torres (24:52), freshman Mae Sandhu (24:54), sophomore Priyana Patel (25:14) and freshman Emme Snarr (25:45).

The overall Division V individual champion was Julia Maxwell (18:12), a senior at Branson High in Ross, Marin County. Maxwell and her team were the Division V champions from the North Coast Section.
