Mrs. Freiler, a native of Bar Harbor, Maine, was born Nov. 24, 1924, and had lived in Tracy the past 50 years. She volunteered at the Tracy Branch Library and contributed to efforts of the Red Cross, Easter Seals and other organizations.
An active member of the First United Methodist Church of Tracy, she also held office in the Tracy Woman’s Club for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Arthur “Art” Freiler of Tracy; two children, David Freiler of Yuba City and Lori Ostrom of Salt Lake City; a sister, Gertrude Ruffo of Florida; and seven grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a son, Bruce Freiler; five siblings, Arthur Falkenstrom, John Falkenstrom, Sylvia Rosenkrantz, Pauline Williamson and Ella Hudson; and her parents, Arthur and Gertrude Falkenstrom.
