Club Notes: Crab feed season begins

Tickets are still available for the Tracy Rotary Club’s 17th annual Crab Dinner scheduled Saturday, Oct. 26, at Portuguese Hall, 430 W. Ninth St.

The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, followed at 6:30 p.m. with dinner. The menu will include crab, pasta, salad, French bread and wine.

Live and silent auctions will be held and raffle prizes awarded.

Tickets are $40 per person. They can be obtained from Tracy Rotary Club members or by calling Ben Goldberg, dinner chairman, at 814-0277.

Proceeds will go to the club’s community projects, including college scholarships for graduates of Tracy area high schools.

The Tracy Elks Lodge, No. 2031, is having a dinner of its own at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at the lodge, 6400 W. 11th St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

In addition to all-you-can-eat crab, the Elks will serve salad, bread and pasta.
