100 years ago — 1913

A 66-year-old Los Angeles woman died on the northbound Owl passenger train just before arriving at the Tracy station. Knowing she had only a few days to live, she was en route to Berkeley to spend time with her daughter.

Naglee School has been moved to a new location on Tracy Island Road near Finck Road.

The Tracy and West Side Board of trade has gone on record favoring erecting an electric arch over Central Avenue at Sixth Street.
