Carr, Stever to wed in October

Rebecca Mae Carr, daughter of Mary and Brian Carr of Tracy, and Robert Gordon Stever, son of Emily and Robert Stever of Lathrop, are engaged to be married Oct. 12, 2013, in Tracy.

Rebecca and Robert met about a year ago through friends in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a member of the church, and she joined after they became a couple.

Rebecca is a graduate of Delta Charter High School and has performed in two Tracy Performing Arts Foundation productions, “A Connecticut Christmas Conspiracy” and “Doing Romeo and Juliet.” She holds two associate degrees from San Joaquin Delta College.

Robert, a graduate of University of the Pacific, is employed by Heritage Paper in Lathrop.

The couple will make their home together in Lathrop.
