Graveside services will be Oct. 11 for Sue Ann (Palady) Madden, 73, a former Tracy resident, who died Friday morning, Sept. 6, in Carson City, Nev.

Born Jan. 4, 1940, in Helper, Utah, Mrs. Madden grew up in Lake Tahoe, was married in New Mexico in 1958 and moved to Tracy with her husband to raise their three children. They later moved to Carson City; to Nampa, Idaho; and back to Stagecoach, Nev.

Survivors include three children, John Madden, and his wife, Paula, of Tracy, David E. Madden of Silver Springs, Nev., and Vickie VanderWerff, and her husband, Steve, of Melba, Idaho; a sister, Mary Ann Thomas, and her husband, Norman, of Minden, Nev.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Leamon John Madden, who died in July 2006, and her parents, Mary and John Palady.

Graveside services on Oct. 11 will begin at 10 a.m. at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road.
