Officers were called at 1:27 p.m. when an unknown number of males were allegedly in the roadway pulling a man out of a black truck.
The man from the truck was subsequently stabbed and was bleeding from the face, the log states.
At the scene, a black GMC Sierra was parked in the turning lane from westbound Grant Line Road to southbound Corral Hollow Road. Blood droplets could be seen on the road and curb, and a bloody T-shirt was balled up next to the truck.
Two other men, presumably occupants of the truck, were being interviewed by police. One man was seen with the victim’s blood on his hand, forearm and leg.
The victim was taken from the scene in an ambulance with unknown injuries.
The alleged attacker and another man left the scene before police arrived, the log states. Officers looked for two vehicles, one a black BMW, and would arrest 27-year-old Andrew Mamaraldo a short time later, according to the log.
Mamaraldo was not listed on the San Joaquin County Jail website at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Police at the scene didn’t comment about the incident, and subsequent calls seeking details were not returned.
