At the Shelter: Jeb, a 2-year-old male shepherd and hound mix, is at the Tracy Animal Shelter and needs a home. The staff is seeking donations of canned food for dogs and cats, dog toys, puppy and kitten formula and flea shampoo.

The shelter along with Jules Veterinarian is running an August adoption special for cats and kittens. All adoptions will be $90 for two, male or female. The adoption fee is waived and the only cost is for spay or neutering. The shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For information: 831-6364 or “City of Tracy Animal Services” on Facebook.

To the Rescue: Bella, a Labrador retriever-border collie mix, is 3 years old. She enjoys playing fetch and tug of war and going for daily jogs. She is a good fit for active families with older children and no other pets. Bella is full grown and weighs about 50 pounds. She needs to continue her training and has a sponsor who has agreed to provide a month’s worth of lessons. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.
