Last week’s Remember When mystery photo, at top, shows grocer Victor Mayer, standing left, with his offspring in front of the family grocery store at the southwest corner of Eighth Street and Central Avenue. The photo was taken in 1915.

The building, which once housed Westside Market, is now owned by the city of Tracy, and the space at the corner is vacant.

Pete Mitracos recognized the photo’s location.

Today’s Remember When mystery photo, at left, shows a structure northwest of Tracy. What is it, where was it and what was its use over the years?
