Rudy Mason will be cranking up the barbecue pit July 27 for the 13th annual Old School Reunion at McDonald Park.

Activities at the park, at First Street and Central Avenue, will begin at 11 a.m. and continue to 9 p.m.

Mason, who operates Falling Off the Bone Catering, will serve barbecued ribs, barbecued fried chicken, beans with ham hocks, rice, brisket and whole hog.

He asks that those who go to the reunion take a salad or other side dish to fill out the menu. Those without food will be asked for a $10 donation.

Out-of-town entertainment throughout the day will be provided by Los Amigos Band of Fresno, DJ Invisible of Stockton and Nat Bolden and the State of Mind Band from Oakland.

Local musical talent will include Rumors, Tracy Community Church’s Power of Praise, Latin Essence and Sunny Ray and the Salsa Group.

Proceeds from the Old School Reunion will provide funds for the Mason Family Scholarship Fund.
