She previously played with the U14 girls national team and was selected after she recovered from breaking her leg in a soccer game a year before the tryout for the U14 national team.
A former member of the Tracy Futbol Club Crush, she plays for the DeAnza Force 98 Blue team out of Cupertino.
Meiring wins on SJ Fair half-mile track
Tony Meiring of Tracy won the Lodi Motorcycle Club’s Open Pro event June 13 at the San Joaquin County Fair.
The win on the half-mile dirt track at the Stockton fairgrounds puts Meiring in a first-place tie after six races in the 23-race American Motorcyclist Association’s District 36 Championship Dirt Track Series.
Meiring’s chief rival in the series point standings, Dominic Colindres of Brisbane, had an early lead in the June 13 race before Meiring moved up from fifth place, took the lead in the fifth lap and held on for the win.
He also won his heat race and the Dash for Cash.
