Jaime Renee Chin and Steven Michael Fuchs of Tracy, both graduates of Tracy High School, are to be married June 23, 2013.

A ceremony and reception will take place at Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, and the couple will spend a two-week honeymoon in Paris.

Steven proposed to Jaime on Oct. 20, 2012, in San Francisco, with the Golden Gate Bridge as a backdrop. She expected to hike the Lands End trail and instead found him dropping to one knee and asking for her hand. The moment was captured on video and in photographs by the couple’s friends.

The couple met in 2008 during a Christmas party at the home of a friend.

Jaime, daughter of John Chin Jr. of Tracy and Jessie Wong of San Jose, is employed as a registered dental hygienist by several dental offices.

She moved from Fresno to Tracy with her family in 1996 and graduated from Tracy High in 1998. She earned a degree in dental hygiene from Carrington College.

Jaime is the sister of Casey Kuroda of San Diego and granddaughter of Elizabeth Chin of Stockton and John Chin Sr. of San Mateo.

Steven, son of Denise Macedo and Michael Fuchs of Livermore, works in computer technology at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

A Tracy resident since 1989, he graduated from Tracy High in 1993 and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1996 to 2000.

Steven is the brother of Steffany Fuchs and Brittany Fuchs of Folsom and grandson of Floyd Macedo of Copperopolis.
