Kimball High junior Logan Staggs, undefeated in the 2013 high school season, has added a nationwide honor to his list of achievements.

The National High School Tennis All-American Foundation of Newport Beach included Staggs on its list of 2013 boys all-American players, released earlier this month.

Most of the 40 players from across the U.S. are college-bound seniors, and Staggs is one of 10 high school juniors.

Kimball High athletic director Steve Thornton said Staggs is the first player from any Tracy school to make the foundation’s all-American list.

Staggs won every match he played in the 2013 season as the Jaguars went 14-0 in the Valley Oak League and 19-1 overall.

He also won his individual match in Kimball’s 6-3 defeat by Bella Vista of Fair Oaks in the semifinals of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II playoffs.
