Arthur ‘Ray’ Light

Arthur “Ray” Light, 68, a Tracy High School graduate, died May 14. Services are pending.

Mr. Light was born Oct. 27, 1944, in Modesto and lived in Tracy much of his life.

He graduated from Tracy High in 1962 and joined the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include a son, Ken Light, and his wife, Dayna, of Dillon, Colo.; his mother, Meralee Light of Tracy; a sister, Donna Martine of Escalon; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his father, Emmett Light; and a sister, Patsy Staton.

A funeral will be scheduled at a later date at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, in Gustine.
