After finishing short of the prize in 2012, Mountain House is back in the running for a chance to win money to build a community dog park.

A pet supply company, Pet Safe, is offering a grand prize of $100,000 and four $25,000 prizes in its third nationwide contest, Bark for Your Park.

Nominated towns and cities are collecting votes throughout May, and 15 finalists will be announced June 5.

Supporters can vote twice each day — once on the Pet Safe website and once via Facebook — until June 26. Winners will be named July 31.
