Police Log: Buffalo Wild Wings robbed

A masked gunman allegedly robbed Buffalo Wild Wings early Thursday, May 2.

A man wearing a ski mask and a gray hooded sweatshirt entered the restaurant at 2790 Naglee Road at 12:51 a.m., pointed a black semiautomatic handgun at someone and demanded money, according to the police log.

The man left the restaurant on foot with an unspecified amount of money, and the restaurant manager tried to follow him in a white Toyota Tundra.

The latest description of the robber mentioned a light gray hooded sweatshirt and tan pants, a black backpack, a black ski mask, latex gloves and a gun.

Tracy police received 685 calls for service Thursday, May 2, to Sunday, May 5. The following is a sample of those reports.


2:45 a.m.: Police arrested a 46-year-old woman on the 2700 block of Gomes Court after a caller said someone brandished a knife during an argument.

9:27 p.m.: A 33-year-old man was arrested at KFC, 400 W. 11th St., on an outstanding warrant.


12:10 a.m.: Several males were told to leave a house on the 4400 block of Glenbrook Drive after the owner, who was not at home, asked a neighbor to look in.

1:55 a.m.: A 26-year-old man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after someone reported that a silver or gray Mercedes swerved into oncoming traffic and hit something near the intersection of 11 and A streets.

2:49 p.m.: A man of unknown age was arrested on the 2300 block of East Street because he was allegedly severely intoxicated. He was taken to Sutter Tracy Community Hospital.

10:27 p.m.: Police chased a 38-year-old man and arrested him at the Tracy Auto Plaza. The man allegedly tried to steal a white Nissan Altima that belonged to Tracy Honda.


10:01 a.m.: A customer at Ace Hardware, 2695 N. Tracy Blvd., reportedly had his bicycle stolen by a man wearing a blue hat, a blue sweatshirt and jeans.

11:25 a.m.: Administrators at Jacobson Elementary School, 1750 W. Kavanagh Ave., decided to handle discipline for a student who reportedly admitted to stealing items at the school earlier in the week.


1:49 a.m.: Police called a tow truck to pull an allegedly stolen all-terrain vehicle out of a ditch near the Department of Motor Vehicles office, 2785 Auto Plaza Drive.

8:06 p.m.: A man was arrested in southwestern Tracy on suspicion of domestic abuse.

9:30 p.m.: At least one helicopter ambulance was called for three people involved in a single-vehicle crash on the 1300 block of Grant Line Road. It’s unclear what injuries were sustained.
