William Gutierrez, 70, of Tracy, a retired truck driver, died Wednesday, April 24, at his home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Burial will be private. Visitation will be observed from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 29, at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., followed immediately by a vigil service. Contributions in Mr. Gutierrez’s name may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Aid Society, 2501 McHenry Ave., Modesto, CA 95350; or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.

A celebration of life will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 25, for Suzanne Kessler, 68, a 32-year Tracy resident, who died Friday, April 19, at her home. Following the service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1635 Chester Drive, burial will be private. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., handled arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Kessler’s name may be sent to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1635 Chester Drive, Tracy, CA 95376.

A funeral service will be Friday, April 26, for Shannon Ranae Manchester, 19, a former Tracy resident, who was killed in a car accident April 16 in El Dorado County, near Coloma. The service begins at 11:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Tracy, 1610 East St., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 10 to 11 a.m. that same day at the church. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements. Contributions in Miss Manchester’s name may be sent to Get Real Behind the Wheel, www.getrealbehindthewheel.com.

Dorothy Bell Adams, a former Tracy resident and H.J. Heinz Co. retiree, died March 30 in Manteca at age 98. Private graveside services are planned in Farmington Memorial Cemetery, 5255 Escalon Bellota Road, in Farmington.
