Pets took center stage March 9 during a pet health and safety fair at the dog park at El Pescadero Park, 301 W. Grant Line Road. About 500 people attended the event put together by Danielle Scheuerlein as part of her Girl Scout Heart of Central California Gold Award project. Food, toys, samples and coupons were offered by 20 vendors, and there were several contests for pets and their owners.

Just fer editorial infermation, th "Dog Park" located at th City's El Pescadero Park is officially titled, The Cora K-9 facility. Cora was Tracy's first police dog an it was named after her in honor of her service ta th Tracy Community. Somehow or other "Dog Park" just don't have th same honor attached ta it.
