Kimball was first out of 15 teams with 105.5 points. Bear Creek was second (90), West third (58), Stagg fourth (48.5) and Tracy fifth (47).
Kimball senior Chandler Alves won the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 10 inches, and Tracy junior Nathan Arena won the pole vault (12-0).
West junior Ernest Turner was second in both the long jump (20-6) and triple jump (42-2), West senior Travis Santarina was second in the shot put (44-5), and Tracy junior Justin Hall was second in the discus (122-11).
Three runners beat the previous meet record of 11.09 seconds in the 100-meter dash, including Kimball junior Damon Jackson, who placed third with a time of 11.08, less than a second behind the new meet record of 10.85 seconds set by a runner from Kennedy High in Richmond.
Kimball senior Joseph Penitani was third in the discus (119-6), and Kimball senior Derek Van De Streek placed third in the triple jump (41-3).
Kimball won the 4,000-meter distance medley relay (11:49.54), the 4x100 relay (44.13) and the 1200 shuttle hurdle relay (2:59.56).
West won the 4x800 relay (8:58.61), and Tracy won the 4x400 relay (3:38.67).
Kimball was first out of 13 teams with 89 points, while Tracy was second (77), Bear Creek was third (75) and West was fourth (60).
Tracy High senior Taylor Juarez set a new meet record with a 5-foot, 2-inch leap in the high jump that earned her first place. Kimball senior Jaleyah Douglass won the discus (112-3) and the shot put (34-1).
Second-place athletes included Kimball junior Francesca Loayza in the 3200 meters with a time of 12 minutes, 42.31 seconds; Tracy senior Katrina Bruder in the discus (90-2.5); and West senior Maliyah Shavers in the triple jump (33-9.5).
Third place athletes were Kimball sophomore Amber Moody in the 100-meters (13.06); Kimball senior Kayla Vogel in the discus (84-9.5); West junior Elise Green in both the high jump (4-10) and triple jump (32-6.5); and Tracy senior Kaitlin Mizuno in the pole vault (8-6).
Kimball won three of the relay events, including setting a new meet record in the 400 shuttle hurdles (1:13.88). The Jaguars also won the 1200 shuttle hurdles (3:30.49) and the 4x400 relay (4:26.88).
Tracy won the 4000 distance medley (15:08.49), and West won the 4x100 relay (52.93)
In freshman-sophomore competition, the West boys finished first out of 11 teams with 114.5 points. Tracy was second (92) and Kimball was third (73).
West was first among 10 teams in the freshman-sophomore girls, scoring 148. Tracy was fourth (63) and Kimball fifth (44).
Athletes to set frosh-soph meet records include West freshman Christian Velasco in the boys triple jump with an effort of 39 feet, 2 inches, a mark that makes him the No. 3-ranked freshman in the event statewide, according to PrepCalTrack.com.
Other frosh-soph record-setters include West freshman Alexis Lockard in the girls 100-meters with a time of 13.41 seconds, Tracy sophomore Kaitlin Spencer in the girls 3200 (13:01.15), Tracy freshman Daniel Falco in the boys 3200 (11:00.84), and West freshman Eshter Ekwueme in the girls discus (93-2.5).
