Tracy police officers and members of the Delta Regional Auto Theft Team arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of possession of stolen property, illegal possession of ammunition and on a warrant for previous drug, forgery, theft and burglary charges.
Police took him to San Joaquin County Jail, where he awaits a Friday, March 22, court hearing in Manteca.
Tracy police received 158 calls for service Wednesday, March 20. The following is a sample of those reports.
Wednesday
8:02 a.m.: A woman was suspected of drunken driving following a two-car crash at the intersection of Hunter Trail and Lone Fox Court. The woman was taken to Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, where police cited her.
1:28 p.m.: Police received repeated calls from the northwest part of town from a crying woman whose phone repeatedly cut out. According to the log, she first said that her boyfriend was hitting her, and then said her boyfriend was hitting himself in the face and intended to blame her for his injuries. Police arrested the man on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence and issued a restraining order.
6:39 p.m.: A man on the 4600 block of Windsong Drive told police that he is subjected to hostility from his next-door neighbor. Police learned that the caller’s dog had defecated in the neighbor’s yard, and the neighbor allegedly threw the feces back into the caller’s yard. The caller then set up a security camera in his front yard, and now the neighbor reportedly flips off the camera every day. Police advised the caller about how to get a restraining order.
9:05 p.m.: Police got a call about possible domestic violence at a home in northeastern Tracy. An officer went to the house and arrested a man on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence when he returned to the house.

Unbelievable, sounds to me like someone needs to get knocked on their backside. To all dog owners who allow their best friend to defacate on someones lawn without picking it up, you are pigs and among the group I call the stupid, rude, and oblivious.
Sadly, I'm sure someone will come along and defend the offender and or the offense.

The police should be fining the dog owner for letting his dog crap in other peoples yards. Throwing the crap back in the offenders yard was a reasonable response on the part of the neighbor.
