A man on the 100 block of Lahola Court was cleaning his gun and

accidentally shot himself in the foot. The gun was a .40-caliber handgun, and

the shooter immediately ran for some alcohol while his son yelled at him, according

to the report.

Tracy

police responded to 197 calls for service on Tuesday. The following is a sampling

of those reports:

3:42 a.m.: A

woman on the 200 block of Crystal

Creek Court
reported that she heard a loud bang on

the side of her house.

5:52 a.m.: A

resident on the 100 block of Clearbrook

Court
said a car’s tires had been slashed

overnight.

9 a.m.: A woman

on the 200 block of Holly Drive

said her ex-husband had called and threatened to shoot and kill her and her

family.

9:08 a.m.: A

panhandler was reported on the north side of City Hall, 300 Civic Center Plaza.

9:47 a.m.: A

hysterical woman on the 200 block of Whigham

Court
called and requested medical attention for

unknown reasons. Someone else got on the line and said the woman had passed out

after taking medication for a kidney malfunction.

10:04 a.m.: A

stray dog was chased out of the 99-Cent Store on the 100 block of West 11th Street.

11:13 a.m.: A man

on the 800 block of Clover Road

reported that his girlfriend had stolen car rims that he had listed for sale.

11:17 a.m.: An

employee at Pro Beauty Supply on the 300 block of Naglee Road reported a wallet stolen

while she was working.

11:20 a.m.: A man

was reported unconscious in a room at the Hacienda Motel on the 600 block of West 11th Street.

Paramedics were called.

12:08 p.m..: A

couple on the 100 block of Gibson

Court
were arrested for fighting.

12:43 p.m.: Someone

on the 200 block of Babcock Lane

called and said his or her 14-year-old brother had shot himself in the head

with a BB gun.

12:47 p.m.: A

woman on the 200 block of Mount

Diablo Avenue
reported that she was in a loud

argument with her husband. Her husband could be heard screaming that she was

going to beat him over the phone.

12:53 p.m.: A

report of someone selling drugs out of a laundrymat was made at 200 East Street.

12:58 p.m.: An

employee of Brenda’s Fashion on 700

N. Central Avenue
reported that her wallet was

stolen while she was working.

1:10 p.m.: A

woman between Ninth and 10 Streets called to report that she had been slapped

by her boyfriend.

1:15 p.m.: Someone

on the 200 block of 12th

Street
called about a burglary that had occurred

overnight at a house and said there were fingerprints on one of the windows.

2:16 p.m.: A

woman on the 200 block of North

MacArthur Drive
called to say her ex-boyfriend’s

brother was stealing some of her things while she was packing.

2:26 p.m.: A

woman called and reported her purse stolen at the Starbucks on 500 West Clover Road.

2:31 p.m.: An

employee at the Gap Outlet store on the 100 block of Pescadero Avenue reported two people

stealing clothes the day before.

3:07 p.m.: Someone

on the 500 block of Presidio Place

reported three men shooting a BB gun in front of a yard. One of the men was

wearing a black ski mask, and another was taking pictures.

3:18 p.m.: A man

was arrested at Kavanagh Avenue

and Lincoln Boulevard

on three warrants.

3:22 p.m.: Two

children were reported driving go-karts recklessly in the street with no

helmets on Baigorry Street

and Roger Drive.

3:43 p.m.: An

employee from the Tracy Cemetery on the 600 block

of Schulte Road

reported that someone had attempted to break in to the “shack” for the third

time in the last few weeks.

3:54 p.m.: A

woman reported her purse stolen in the Save Mart parking lot on the 100 block

of 11th Street

while she was unloading her groceries. She said a man driving a green four-door

car with “shiny rims” got out and stole her purse from her van. By the time she

had reached home and called the credit card companies to cancel her cards, they

had been used.

4:44 p.m.: Someone

on the 2900 block of Savanna Drive

reported a man and woman in a heated argument across the street from them. A

child said the man had choked the woman. Minutes later, the caller saw the man

in the garage throwing stuff at two women.

5:24 p.m.: Someone

on the 1100 block of Mansfield

Court
reported the sound of a man hitting a woman.

5:34 p.m.: A call

concerning someone shooting a dog with a BB gun was made on the 100 block of

Summertime Drive.

7:14 p.m.: Someone

on the 500 block of Cumberland

Drive
reported lights being stolen off his house.

7:35 p.m.: A man

was arrested for trespassing on West

Street
and Mount Diablo Avenue.

8:17 p.m.: Someone

on the 200 block of Adaire Lane

called about a man selling marijuana in Marlow Brothers Park.

8:53 p.m.: A man

on the 200 block of Amatchi Drive

called saying that he had been bitten by a small dog.

9 p.m.: A caller

on the 100 block of East Whittier

Avenue
called about a fire in the attic and

evacuated the premises.

9:20 p.m.: A man

on the 100 block of Newport Court

was arrested on an outstanding DUI warrant out of Stockton.

10: 08 p.m.: Police

arrested a man for a felony warrant after a routine traffic stop at the Chevron

on the 3000 block of North Tracy

Boulevard

10:28 p.m.: A man

was seen going through trashcans near Edgewood

Lane
and Pagoda
