Two men were arguing when one shot a pistol at the other at

8:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of East Ninth St.. One of the men limped

from the scene, and the other was seen driving away in a white 1996 Tahoe.

Tracy

police responded to 225 calls for service on Wednesday. The following is a

sampling of those reports:

12:02 a.m.: A

woman on the 200 block of West

Grant Line Road
reported that her front window had

been shattered.

12:06 a.m.: A

woman at Foodmaxx at 3225 N. Tracy

Boulevard
had her purse stolen from her cart while

she was unloading her groceries.

12:19 a.m.: A

woman on the 100 block of Maple

Court
complained of an ongoing problem of someone

siphoning gas from her vehicle.

12:57 a.m.: A

woman called from the Motel 6 at 3810

N. Tracy Boulevard
and said a man and a woman stole

her room key.

1:08 a.m.: A

motorist drove a vehicle into a pole on the 1200 block of North Tracy Boulevard.

2:28 a.m.: Someone

on the 100 block of Pagoda Court

reported seeing someone trespass in a vacant house next-door.

5:07 a.m.: Officers

took a man into custody who they thought had been involved in a series of

burglaries in the 100 block of Rialto

Court
. It happened after a caller reported two

suspicious men lurking in the neighborhood.

5:46 a.m.: A

woman on the 200 block of Coventry

Drive
awoke to see her car broken into and her

stereo missing.

6:06 a.m.: A man

on the 700 block of Mt. Diablo Avenue

reported that his house was broken into while he was away.

6:20 a.m.: A

caller on the 700 block of Oneil

Court
reported that his son fell off the toilet

and was not breathing. He resumed breathing moments later.

7:14 a.m.: A car

was reported broken into on the 200 block of Butler Court.

7:38 a.m.: A

dental office at 1423 N. Tracy

Boulevard
was reported to have been broken into

the night before.

7:39 a.m.: Someone

reported a man masturbating near Tracy

Boulevard
and Whispering Wind Drive. The man had his

pants down and was walking with two girls.

9:02 a.m.: Someone

on the 200 block of Lara Lane

reported a garage break-in and a global position system and tools stolen.

9:07 a.m.: A

report of kids swimming in a vacant house’s pool was called in on the 400 block

of Hawthorne.

9:59 a.m.: Someone

on Sycamore Parkway

and Schulte Road

found a 2-year-old boy walking with a dog. They stayed with the boy until his

mom arrived.

10:06 a.m.: A

woman called on the 400 block of Windchime

Way
and said she needed to get some of her

belongings from the home of her ex-boyfriend, who might give her problems.

10:29 a.m.: A

woman on the 200 block of East Mt.

Diablo Avenue
reported being in an argument with

her husband. She said her husband had threatened to kill her with the guns that

were in the master bedroom.

 

10:31 a.m.: Police

arrested two men for conspiracy and possession of drugs for sale on the 100

block of Pilgrim Court

in Lathrop.

11:49 a.m.: Someone

on the 300 block of East Grant

Line Road
called in to report a missing teenage

daughter. The caller said she had been missing since 1:30 a.m. and was probably

with her boyfriend.

12:15 p.m.: A man

called and said he was worried about his ex-fiance going to his house on the

900 block of Wall Street and damaging his vehicle.

12:50 p.m.: A

report of a suspicious man posing as cable company worker on the 100 block of Mello Court was

made.

1:03 p.m.: Someone

reported a man named Ralph threatening to throw a 12-volt battery at them on

the 500 block of Gonzalez Street.

1:35 p.m.: A

woman at In Shape Health Club at 101

N. Tracy Boulevard
reported her car window smashed

and her purse stolen.

3:36 p.m.: A

caller from Artesian Health Food at 1250

W. 11th St.
complained of a man waving

his arms and scaring customers.

4:02 p.m.: Someone

reported a man named Ralph threatening to throw a 12-volt battery at them on

the 500 block of Gonzalez Street.

They said “Ralph” was going to kill them.

4:18 p.m.: A

woman at the Valero gas station on the 100 block of 11th Street reported her purse

stolen out of her car by a man on a bike.

4:21 p.m.: A

woman called to say she feared that her violent-tempered daughter might be

waiting for her inside her house on Locust

Street

5:05 p.m.: Someone

in the area of Sixth Street

and Central Avenue

reported a man who has been repeatedly stepping out into traffic and taking

pictures of cars.

5:12 p.m.: A

parent at Alden Park on the 500 block of Sequoia Boulevard

reported a 16-year-old son drunk in the park.

5:18 p.m.: A

woman reported a fight in progress at Ceciliani Park

at 1600 Cypress Drive.

5:39 p.m.: A man

was arrested for outstanding warrants after a routine traffic stop at the Fry

Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central

Ave.

7:24 p.m.: Someone

on the 900 block of Cobalt Drive

reported a 16-year-old brother hitting people, wearing brass knuckles and being

“out of control.”

7:55 p.m.: A

vehicle window was broken and a lunchbox was stolen from a man’s car on the 200

block of Fairfield Drive.

9 p.m.: A woman

at the West Valley Mall, 3200

Naglee Road
, reported that all four of her tires were

slashed. Right before her phone died, she said she had to go to the hospital.

9:08 p.m.: A

woman was bit by a dog on the 300 block of Ranchero Way.

9:26 p.m.: A man

on the 100 block of Montauban

Street
reported his landlord saying that he was

going to go over to his house and “blow his brains out with a shotgun.”

10:55 p.m.: A

woman on the 200 block of Pavilion Park reported her husband

pounding on her door trying to get in.

11 p.m.: Two

separate callers heard a loud crash behind Foodmaxx at 3225 N. Tracy Boulevard. One smelled

smoke after the noise, and the other heard kids laughing.

11:32 p.m.: A

woman at the Tracy Park Apartments on the 2800 block of North Tracy Boulevard reported being locked out of her apartment, with her 3-year-old

daughter inside. She said she’d been in an argument with her boyfriend, who did

the locking.
