A man angrily told police at 7:25 a.m. Friday that his house

had been egged again and that he’d camp out that night to catch the eggers.

“There will be a pile of bodies,” he told police, referring to those who

vandalized his home on the 1600 block of Holly Drive. Police advised him to not

take matters into his own hands.

police received 249 calls for service Friday. The following is a sampling of

those calls:



12:29 a.m.: A group of kids sporting dark outfits ran down

the street, knocking down trash cans and hitting cars along the 700 block of East Kavanagh Avenue.



1:07 a.m.: Youths threw rocks at a man’s car as he drove

under the 11th Street

overpass near MacArthur Drive.

The driver, described as irate, told police he’d find the stone-throwers

himself and take care of things, and then he hung up.



8:11 a.m.: Someone kicked in the back door of Stroup Law

Offices, 1030 N. Central Ave.



8:52 a.m.: Someone tagged a car on the 1400 block of Eastlake Circle.



9:47 a.m.: A woman’s ex-husband poured gasoline all over her

house and threatened to burn it down after the two got into a physical fight on

the 2600 block of Byron Road.



11:34 a.m.: Someone sprayed graffiti on a wall on the 900

block of West 11th

11:55 a.m.: A man walked into the police department with

photos of his home’s most recent egging.



11:58 a.m.: Someone spray-painted the Tracy branch of the Housing Authority of San

Joaquin, 300 N. West St.



1:09 p.m.: A caller said her neighbor keeps throwing rocks

at her dogs on the 900 block of Windeler

1:36 p.m.: Eggers keep targeting Shamrock pub, 117

W. 11th St

bartenders said, between 11 p.m. and midnight practically every few days. They

asked police to keep an eye on the place.



1:45 p.m.: A woman driving a blue Volvo hit a Mercedes

minivan and then drove off from the Washington Mutual bank parking lot, 691 W. 11th St.,

where the van was parked.



2:58 p.m.:  Two guys

in a small white car were setting off bottle rockets near Gandy Dancer Drive and Mars Way, an onlooker told police.



3:54 p.m.: Someone painted graffiti on a wall near Monument Drive and Sycamore Parkway, a

caller said.



4:08 p.m.: A caller said someone spray-painted a bunch of

cars on the 700 block of Alexandra

Drive

4:16 p.m.: A stray Chihuahua

was seen asleep in the well of a trailer wheel on the 1400 block of Mae Avenue, a

caller reported.



4:50 p.m.: A car got keyed on the 100 block of Alum Rock Court.



4:54 p.m.: An aggressive dog tore through a fence and tried

to attack a caller’s daughter and husband on the 1800 block of Maplegrove Lane.



5:25 p.m.: A man’s house got egged and he said he suspects

it’s a group of kids he told to stop playing ball near his house on the 1700

block of Egret Court,

he told police.



7:07 p.m.: A 14-year-old girl told police that a group of

three other girls just “jumped” her and her friend at West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road.



7:32 p.m.: A guy got stabbed 12 times and was sent to the

hospital after a fight with a group of alleged gang members, all shirtless,

near Seventh Street

and Central Avenue.

The victim was sent to the emergency room, where he was treated for critical

injuries He was released in stable condition.



9:22 p.m.: Two shirtless men and a girl in a pink tank top

got into a fight near D and 16th streets.



10:44 p.m.: A caller’s cousin got beat up on the 2900 block

of North MacArthur Drive.



11:06 p.m.: A group of young people got into a fight after

smoking pot and yelling a lot near Andrew

Street
and James Court, a caller said.
