A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 2, for Bulmaro Ruiz Gusman, 84, a 40-year Tracy resident, who died Feb. 19 of septic shock at Manteca Care & Rehabilitation.

Mr. Gusman was born Sept. 10, 1928, in Pittsburg. He was a union worker for H.J. Heinz Co.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Guzman of Tracy; eight children, Lupe Torres of Lathrop, Anita Penaflor of Tracy, Hilaria Aguirre of Lathrop, Efrain Guzman of Ceres, Miguel Guzman of Mexico, Diana Guzman of Modesto, Joel Guzman of Mexico and Gilbert Guzman of Tracy; a sister, Ramona Guzman of Wilmerton; 26 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a niece.

His parents, Gilberto Gusman and Natividad Ruis, preceded him in death.

The memorial Mass will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 532 S. Atlantic Blvd., in Los Angeles, followed by burial. Visitation will be observed from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, with a rosary at 6:30 p.m., at Calvary Mortuary, 4201 Whittier Blvd., in Los Angeles.
