Graveside services were this week for Jennie Belle Becker, 92, a former JC Penney sales clerk, who died Feb. 13 at Tracy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 4, 1920, in Nebraska.

Mrs. Becker worked 30 years in the yardage department at JC Penney on 10th and B streets in downtown Tracy before the department store moved to the West Valley Mall.

She was a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Tracy for many years and also cleaned the church. She had been a member of a local bowling league.

Survivors include three grandchildren, David McNair, and his wife, Cindy, of Tracy, Kelli Kruse, and her husband, Scott, of Iowa and Lisa Smith, and her husband, Rick, of Lathrop; eight great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 20 years, Edwin Becker, who died in 1960; a daughter, Beverly McNair, who died in 1994; and two grandsons.

Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., handled arrangements. Burial was in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road.
