Today’s Remember When mystery photo, above left, shows a group of men making preparations for a fundraising dinner in February 1980. Who are they, and to what organization did they belong?

Last week’s Remember When mystery photo, bottom left, shows sister and brother Lucy Galanti Orsi and Danny Galanti inside The Hub department store in 1977.

They had just purchased the business from founders Simon and Archie Saltzman, who had established it at the corner of Seventh Street and Central Avenue in the 1950s before moving it to West 10th Street.

Identifying Orsi and Galanti in the photo were Michael Oliveri, Greg Welch, Terry Walton, Lisa Fornasero, Todd Lieberg (Lucy’s son-in-law), Cash Silva, Ledi Fornasero, onetime employee Dorothy Barboza, Debbie Ortega, Josephine Colli, Annette Alvarez Ormonde, Grace Alvarez, Darlene Mattos and Karen Estes.
